hello, mr. porter!

i am quite excited about the launch of mr. porter tomorrow.  i am already a huge fan of net-a-porter, which is the sister company, providing luxury brands such as, chrisitian louboutin, alexander wang, alice + olivia, sass and bide, etc. through an exciting online shopping experience.  there is nothing like receiving a package via fedex with a net-a-porter bow on it.  even though you already know what's inside, it's wrapped like a gift and the excitement starts all over again.  it's like a birthday or christmas present!  anyways, mr. porter will be similar to net-a-porter in many ways, but the site will be a cleaner, minimalistic approach versus the busier net-a-porter.  like net-a-porter, it will also feature editorial content, style advice, and same-day deliveries in london and new york.  they will feature up to 60 brands for their spring/summer 2011 collection to include rick owens, lanvin, margiela, ysl, burberry, bottega veneta, etc. and for this reason alone, i can not wait to have a man in my life:)
