during my stay in new york last week, this had to be one of my favourite things that i did.  headed to SOBs to meet some friends to see house shoes and black milk (rip dilla), i passed this coffee spot aroma espresso bar in SOHO, but had no time to actually go inside, but made it a point to go before i headed back to TX.  i don't know what it was about it, whether it was the fact that i love coffee or looking in from the outside, where it was frigid, knowing a warm drink might help during the rest of my walk, or seeing all the people filling every seat either eating, engaged in intimate convos, sipping, or on their lap top, with condensation on the glass due to the close quarters and body heat.  luckily, i came back the next day right after getting my minx manicure done at valley nyc.  it was just as amazing as i had hoped!  it was crowded, no where to sit, but we had good conversation non the less.  we took our coffee outside for a stroll to the next destination.  of corse i got camera happy and took plenty photos of our coffee experience.  & because of the pics that i took and felt compelled to share with aroma, they are sending me a gift card for the next time i come through.  how sweet is that?!  maybe i will sit down next time and eat.
