this post is long over due. i can always count on the homie wahid putting me on to dope artists, whether it be music, fashion, or photographers. he dropped another video last month featuring malaysian songstress, yuna.
i spent the last few evenings indulging in her music. so far my favourite songs are mermaids, coffee, and lullabies. with drawn inspiration from artists, such as the cranberries and fiona apple, she has developed her own style. she is a talented songwriter, guitarist, and singer, amongst other things. a beautiful spirit, with a beautiful voice. signed to the fader label, she dropped her first full-length, self-titled album in march. check it out...
