i initially wasn't going to this, this year, but plans changed. a friend of mine from LA hit me a few days ago telling me he'd be in ATX for SXSW this year, but was first flying into san antonio sunday afternoon, for an event he was spinning at. turns out he will be djing for talib kweli tonight. he goes by dj spintelect, be sure to check him out.
any day i get dressed and go out this month will still incorporate 30 for 30. so today, i think i will whip out these bad boys that i got back in '08. they will work perfect for today, considering the party takes place outside. plus, they are worn-in, a lil dirty, and it looks like it might rain in a few. this should be fun!
well it turned out, that it didn't rain after all and the night went well! i didn't get to see the beginning of the event, but i did get to see kweli move the crowd and i did run into some friends along the way. can't beat good music, good convos, and good food. these are some pics i took with my iphone.
